Kennedy Center residency
Stacey has been granted a week-long residency at The Kennedy Center!
This creative development residency takes place late February at Kennedy Center's The REACH - their new wing filled with studio spaces, lecture halls, art spaces, performance venues and public park space. What an amazing opportunity, and what a way to kick off the year. 2020 is sure to be special as we lean into Printz Dance Project's 20th Anniversary! (more on this enormous milestone coming soon!)
Stacey will travel to DC in just a few weeks with company members/collaborators Jenni Bregman and Jorge Vazquez, along with video designer Wolfgang Wachalovsky. They will drop into process to evolve a new work that will then be further developed by PDP dancers in SF and shared, as a work in progress or completed piece, in our Spring Season.

POP-UP EVENT IN OAKLAND: WHERE A GREAT NIGHT OUT AND CONTEMPORARY-JAZZ DANCE PERFORMANCE COLLIDE
PDP is excited to announce this pop-up event of CRASH DANCE in Oakland in November. For this round, we are embracing the spirit of the speakeasy. Join us for an intimate event that brings a private house party-vibe and performance experience together in a cool warehouse space in West Oakland. We’re bringing back some classics and sprinkling in a bunch of fresh material, plus our rolling car seats, construction hazards, and yes... our graffiti-covered car will all be in full effect. We basically want a chance to hang with YOU - perform, listen and dance to some great music with Oakland's own DJ Heylove, party and celebrate the community. With capacity for only 45 people each night, this event will sell out. So please get your tickets NOW!
Cast/Creative Collaborators: Suzy Myre, Louis Acquisto, Katie Wong, Kim Holt, Camryn Kelly, Sadie Carhart, Will Woodward
